These self-adhesive white 0.014" (final thickness, without the mylar back) cards respect the CR80 format - the most popular in the identification industry. Indeed, it is this format that is used for the production of bank cards, identity cards and gift cards. This format is complient with the international standard ISO 7810 (ID-1). So the width and length are 54mm x 86mm respectively for all CR80 boards.
Is this type of card suitable for your project?
Self-adhesive cards are much thinner and more flexible than standard cards. They are typically used as temporary ID badges.
Note: This type of card is not suitable for retransfer printers. If used with a printer with a lamination module, disable lamination. Similarly, since only one side is printable, disable double-sided printing on a duplex printer. Depending on the printer used, some problems have been reported with printing self-adhesive cards with paper back, in which case the mylar back is preferable.
