Evolis CLM laminating module – Primacy 2

The Evolis CLM Lamination Module is designed to be added to the Primacy 2 card printer. It laminates one or both sides of the card. It is recommended to use a laminating film on your cards for two reasons. Firstly, lamination prevents the card from changing color. In fact, it is normal for the print to fade or even discolor after a certain period of daily use. The Lamination Module solves this problem by adding a barrier above the print. This prevents direct impact on printed graphic elements such as photos, logos and text. Secondly, lamination protects against counterfeiting. Fraudsters only have access to the surface of the card – no changes to the original print are possible. In short, the CLM Lamination Module significantly increases the durability and security of your cards.

Note: A laminating ribbon must be loaded before production begins. This product is sold separately. The manufacturer recommends using only Evolis-certified ribbons to maintain the print quality of your cards. Contact us for more information on this module or to place an order.
